🚛 The $650K Truck Polishing Business You’ve Never Heard Of

A simple, repeatable business I stumbled across that requires zero SEO.

I was relaxing the other day, browsing businesses for sale, when one listing jumped out at me:

Smmpolish.com - a mobile metal polishing business built for the trucking world.

This is a super-niche service, polishing fuel tanks, wheels, and chrome parts for big rigs, trailers, etc.. (and truckers take this stuff seriously). Whether it’s for resale value, pride, or show trucks, they’ll pay good money for a flawless, mirror-like finish.

Here’s what stood out:

  • 2024 Revenue: $652,409

  • 2024 Cash Flow: $264,174

  • Google Reviews: 5 stars but only 23 reviews

  • Clients: 200+ loyal customers

  • Competition: Basically none

The business did this revenue with just 2 mobile crews and 1 shop team. Jobs come in mostly through word-of-mouth/connections. No paid ads. No SEO.

📉 And the proof? The website has almost no domain authority and barely any traffic:

That means this business is fueled by repeat customers and reputation, not SEO or clicks. And it’s still producing over $250K in profit.

That tells me this isn’t just a one-off. This could absolutely be duplicated in other towns with heavy truck traffic or near freight hubs.

If you live in Colorado, though, here’s the actual listing I found:

Equipment they use for this service:

  • 2020 Dodge Ram

  • 2 fully equipped mobile trailers (buffers, generators, toolkits)

  • $13K in cleaning materials and supplies

I love finding niche businesses like this. It get’s my mind spinning….
How many other high-margin, blue-collar niche businesses are out there hiding in plain sight?

I hope you enjoyed this one.

I’m headed to South Carolina with the family this weekend, I always seem to find weird niche businesses when I travel, so hopefully I come across another one to share with you.

Have a great weekend!

See you Tuesday,
Tim
